Sexual orientation refers to sexuality and sexual preference therefore it covers heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality, and celibacy. Prostitution involves the exchange of sexual activities for money and is therefore a profession not a sexual orientation. Mind you, prostitution can involve sexual activities from the whole gamut of sexual orientation, but it should not be confused with sexual orientation itself. However, I do believe that everyone (irregardless of their sexual orientation or profession) is entitled to protection from housing discrimination or employment benefit discrimination, and no one should ever be subjected to hate crimes.

your sexual orientation means what gender you prefer, whether it is a gay relationship or a straight one or a prostitutional one.
