I have a job orientation at the same time that I start school. What can I do?

I don’t want to drop out of school just for a crappy job, But School is soo hard without money. Should I forget about the job orientation and struggle through another semester without money? or should I call my job and try to schedule a new orientation?

How long is your job orientation? If it’s only for one day, then call/email your professors and explain why you can’t make that first day. That way they won’t drop you. But if orientation requires you to be absent any longer, you may have to choose one or the other.
