"If I have all faith so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing." Corinthians 1:13 i find this to be one of the most inspiring verses of the Bible. here, Paul clearly puts love even before his faith, essentially saying that the basis of faith is love. therefore, despite the fact that the Bible may condemn homosexuality, loving thy neighbor (all of thy neighbors), is more important.

Every religious texts are subject to inconsistencies because they are written by man, and then rewritten and translated. but even if you choose to avoid that as a good explanations then look at in this way.

When God breathed life into us he also gave us all the same free will, free will to choose him or to denial him. to love him or to love ourselves… In this "One" act he has both placed us above all creations and condemned us to.

Do not see a persons sexual preference as an issue but see all people as individuals that have their own struggles, even you. Mine is food, I believe there is a sin for that one to.

Does it really or is that what your preacher said? If the bible said that all homosexuals must die it would have already been posted on this site. As far as I can tell all is says is man shall not lie with another man as he does with a woman.

Why is this "sin" worse than any of the ten commandments?If god knows everything and homosexuality is the worst sin after killing then why is it not in the ten commandments? Lying is in the ten commandments and every one lies which would by your logic mean that the bible condemns everyone to death.

To sum it all up you don’t have to hate homosexuals because it doesn’t say so in the bible.

When you think about it, the bible says some pretty ridiculous things sometimes. For example, if your child is stubborn, you have the right to stone them, and rape victims must marry the rapist. We all know these laws are totally irrelevant to the times and so we regard them as insignificant, what's so different about this one?

figured that was relevant based on your name being "Chuck" and the homosexual community liking "wood."

Honestly, it does not matter what your religious background is you should try to respect everyone on the same playing field. When people do things to intentionally hurt others, you may then remove them from the egalitarian view (judgmental anti-gay activist Christians).

Hi. I recently found out that one of my best friends (and guy I had a crush on) is gay. I was sad, because I was hoping we could have gone to prom together. The bible says homosexuality is a sin however, I still love him like a brother, he will always be close to my heart, and i will always do anything for him. I don’t agree with his choice to like men, but he is still my friend. It’s kinda like this,

I don’t like or believe we should drink- and I don’t anymore. My other friend however likes to drink and believe it’s ok. He will often go to parties to drink. Am I gonna stop loving that friend, just because he does things that are not good in Gods eyes? No I’m not. Same goes for people who are gay

just because you love someone doesn’t mean you have to be coupled up w/ them, in fact, god doesn’t want us to

take it how you want but they are to be loved and prayed for from a distance is what’s clear to me. also know that most christians know that the unsaved are havens for satan’s influence and his demons and that demons travel and you ought to not want that type of force and demons of perversion around yourself. please do make sure you never have your children around influences like that
