  • Named in sexual harrasment case?

Posted by admin on November 27th, 2009 and filed under eeoc sexual | 18 Comments »

The story is as followed: My boss was having an affair with a coworker, when the realationship cooled off, she went to the corporate office and told my boss’s bosses. She also filed a claim with EEOC.
My boss was immediately sent to another office, and the women was placed on leave pending an investigation. I know my boss wife, and we usually see each other( she works at the same company different division) I feel so bad for her because everyone is talking about his wife is naive to have not known. To shorten this long story..the women sued the company for sexual harrasment and my boss was named. The company has began questioning evryone my boss supervised, should I lie and say I was unaware of what was going on??{ I couldn’t prove it, but I thought something was going on, with the two of them because he was always nice to her} I"m trying to save his wife further embarrasment. Serious answers please

You don’t know what you didn’t see. Do you know if he was sleeping with her if you didn’t see it happen? You only know what you saw, not what you can assume. You only know what you saw, not what you think may have happened.

People can make up stories about you "seeing" the bosses wife, because you just said "we usually see each other". Do you think your coworkers can assume something is going on, even if they don’t see it? And hmmm… why are you so concerned about the wife’s feelings? I assume you have a thing for her. Just how well do you know her?

    Sexual harassment lawsuit….?

Posted by admin on November 27th, 2009 and filed under sexual lawsuit | 2 Comments »

In a sexual harassment lawsuit, who do you sue:
    the company or the employee?
Or do you sue them both in the same case?

Who pays out if the plaintiff wins?
Is there a maximum amount of compensation requested?
Is there a time period set for receipt of payment?

Any and all pertinent information would be greatly appreciated.

It completely depends on the circumstances. If the company allowed it to happen you can sue both. If the company took the steps to prevent it they’re not liable.

Now that the voters in CA have made it legal to discriminate based on sex, can we bring back the good old days?

of sexual discrimination in housing and employment?

Your question is based on a false premise.

California Proposition 8 had nothing to do with "discriminat[ion] based on sex."

It had to do with people claiming that they had the "right" to marry, when that was not the case.

The California Supreme Court misconstrued the Califormia Constitution, so the voters cleared up the California Supreme Court’s misconception.

What is the reason for varying sexual orientations ?

Posted by admin on November 27th, 2009 and filed under sexual | 6 Comments »

There are straight people ,then there are gays & lesbians. What decides a person’s sexual orientation during adulthood? Is is decided from the birth (genetic) or depends on the psychological factors on which a child is brought up or is it just the hormones?

Please share your personal experiences mentioning your own sexual orientation & why do you think it is so ?

There’s something genetic about it, I’m convinced of that. I’m a homosexual man and have never felt attracted to girls, even from a young age. Even at school when other boys started talking about attraction to girls I never related to it. I can remember school trips when "girlie mags" got passed round the dorm and it was the men in them I was looking at, not the women. The societal pressure to be straight was something I never felt comfortable with and "coming out to myself" as homosexual is the best thing I ever did. I’m only sorry I never did that earlier and when I finally told my mother about my homosexuality she said she always knew. Somehow mothers of homosexual men usually do and are far better about it than fathers.

Nobody knows exactly what causes some of us to be homosexual or bisexual but I’m sure it’s a combination of things. All I do know is that people who say homosexuality is a choice have not a clue what they’re talking about.

How is homosexuality natural, and what makes a person a homosexual?

Posted by admin on November 27th, 2009 and filed under homosexual | 13 Comments »

I believe that homosexuality is an emotional disturbance caused by some form of abuse allowing one to doubt their own man or womanhood, and human nature. Homosexuals are homosexuals so they do not posess human nature, as they do not procreate, which is human nature. If homosexuality is natural, what would happen to "nature" if everyone were to be a homosexual? There would be no children, and why is it that homosexuals are the product of sexual abuse more than 70% of the time?

i love it when bad trolls troll badly.

please provide EVIDENCE to back up your claims.

i’ll be here waiting for your response…about 70% of the time.

How should I complete the EEOC charge discrimination form?

Posted by admin on November 22nd, 2009 and filed under eeoc sexual | 1 Comment »

I was discriminated against and dismissed after filing a sexual harassment complaint via HR internal procedures and I am decided to report this company to the EEOC. The form to be completed requests the following: (1) What relief are you seeking with this matter? & (2) What will you accept tor revolve this matter ASAP? What should I tell them? I want to be compensated for wages I loss due to dismissal but I think that I should be compensated for more due to the hardship and emotional pain they made me go through. Further, I want this company to learn and receive training from the EEOC about civil rights since they do not have a slightest clue about it. Can I ask for that also? Please help!

Relief means monetary compensation- Ask for $150,000, reinstatement, and sexual harassment training for employees at that company. Also, in your complaint make sure that you mention your termination of service is due to retaliation after complaint was made.

A woman has falsely accused a co-worker of sexual harrassment. She has brought a lawsuit against him. contd.?

Posted by admin on November 22nd, 2009 and filed under sexual lawsuit | 4 Comments »

The identity of the woman is yet a mystery to the accused. Does he have a legal right, in the state of Texas, to know who has accused him?
    Yes, Midnight. I’m absolutely certain.

From a Texas lawyer. Lawsuits are public, not private. Go down to the courthouse and ask the district clerk’s office for help looking up your name as the defendant. If you’ve been sued you can have the file pulled and read everything in it, including the name and address of your accuser (the plaintiff). It the accuser loses the lawsuit against you, you can then sue her for malicous prosecution.
